I'm 26 years old from a small town in the great mitten state of Michigan. I'm happily married to my amazing husband, Jake. He is such a daredevil, being on two different fire departments and he also works for an excavating company. Thankfully, I have a very supportive husband who has given me the opportunity to be his dream girl housewife! We went to high school together but we didn't start dating until after we had both graduated. I gave him far too many rejections when he continuously asked me out, but thankfully my best friend talked some sense into me. After that first date in 2010, we've been together ever since! He's opened up the doors to God for me, and he's made me into the God devoted woman that I am today.
We eventually got engaged and had a beautiful wedding in 2013. We said goodbye to the "couple" days and in 2014 we welcomed our first beautiful little boy, Easton, into the world. During the late summer of 2015, we expanded our family again and welcomed our second little boy, McKinley. We are so happy and blessed that God picked us to be the parents of these two beautiful little human beings! This past winter, we finally pulled the plug and purchased our very first home!
With all of that being said, be prepared for many posts about marriage, God, my attempts at DIY projects, home improvements, babies, pregnancy, parenting - all of the ups and downs that comes with it - and so much more!
